Instead of being just a Church that welcomes and receives by keeping the doors open, let us try also to be a Church that finds new roads, that is able to step outside itself and go to those who do not attend Mass, to those who have quit or are indifferent.

Mark A. Blaser, MD

Dr. Blaser, obtained his medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1986, followed   by a pediatric residency program at Children's Memorial Hospital of Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago where he also completed his Allergy/Immunology Fellowship in 1991. He is currently in private practice with Medical Arts Associates, Ltd in Moline, Illinois.

Dr. Blaser has been a member of Catholic Medical Association since 2014.

He  has served in the position of  Medical Director of   Annual Haiti Medical Missions of the St. John Vianney Parish since 2011. Their program has been  striving to develop a self-sufficient and self-sustainable  faith community in Jean- Denis in Haiti with priorities of  building a new school, churches, and  establishing micro financing programs.  

Mark has personally made multiple  mission trips as a physician to Jean-Denis, Jamaica and Belize, seeing on average  over 1,200 consultations  during their  4 day clinics.
